Are you in a situation where you need a car picked up today? Maine Motors Giveback understands that life can throw curveballs, and our dedicated team is here to help. Whether your vehicle is running or not, we aim to provide a solution that fits your needs. To ensure a successful same-day pickup, please be aware of the factors that can influence scheduling, such as the availability of our dispatchers, your geographical location, and the condition of your vehicle.
When you submit your pickup request, our dispatcher will assess factors like vehicle accessibility, whether you have the title and keys, and any local parking permit requirements. Morning submissions work best for same-day service, so don’t hesitate to reach out early. While we strive to accommodate all requests, please understand there may be limitations based on your circumstances.

Honest expectations
While we do our best to facilitate same-day pickups, not every scenario allows for it. Factors such as dispatcher availability, geographic location, and vehicle condition play significant roles. If your vehicle is wrecked or inaccessible, or if you submit your request after our morning cutoff, a same-day pickup may not be possible. We're here to provide accurate timelines based on your situation, so don't hesitate to ask questions.
How pickup logistics work
Coordinating pickups requires effective communication between our dispatch team and towing operators. Depending on your location, we utilize a network of tow operators who can respond quickly. Once your request is received, our dispatcher will assess the best options available. You can expect prompt updates, particularly if there are any changes to your scheduled pickup time.
Maine pickup notes
Maine's geography presents unique challenges and opportunities for vehicle pickups. In urban areas, our tow-operator network is dense, allowing for more flexibility in scheduling. However, rural locations may have limited options, impacting same-day capabilities. Additionally, be mindful of local regulations such as HOA parking permits or street-parking restrictions that could affect accessibility. Knowing your local context can help streamline the donation process.
